EXTRACURRICULAR
• Director, A Christmas Carol, Fall 2010
Classic staging, with twists of creativity and wit, of Dickens’ famous play, taking students and local children from the community with a wide spectrum of experience in acting and guiding the cast into an organic coalescence of presenting an entertaining week of drama, setting, lighting and a touching message.
• Director, The Crucible, Fall 2009
Involved in all aspects of putting on a major drama production, which was presented to the Patrick Henry College community and the Town of Purcellville. From casting, blocking, fundraising, budgeting, marketing, advertising, — late nights and tireless labor of love.
• Co-director, Twelfth Night, Spring 2009
Directing, along with another student, a Shakespearian play. The “trick” was to make it funny, updated and relevant. An experience which provided me the opportunity to work with and lead others, working and coordinating a major school production.
